Québec City Region
A genuine agritourism experience, the Québec City region presents an array of flavours, colours, country landscapes and culinary delights. As the cradle of agriculture in North America, it offers an exceptional rural heritage right alongside very contemporary, innovative products. The Québec City region covers the territories of Portneuf, Jacques-Cartier, Québec City itself, Île d’Orléans and Côte-de-Beaupré. Each area possesses its own ‘terroir’, leading to a multitude of discoveries along the way. Businesses offering hosptality services and interpretation are grouped along the Gourmet Route Gourmet Route. Members of this network grow and process fine products with much enthusiasm, and use original methods. They will welcome you to authentic locations where you’ll be able to see, sample, smell, touch and learn about the flavours and the know-how of their art.
