You are here: I want to Stay

The pleasure of staying in a B&B, a bed & breakfast, or a small inn is yet another way to get a taste of Québec!

Guesthouses, commonly known as B&Bs or bed & breakfasts, and small inns in Québec offer the traveller a very special way to explore the province and meet the people. Discover who they are, become part of their environment and share their way of life, explore their homes, their culinary specialties and their own little corner of the country.

You might stay in a seigneurial mill, a charming Victorian or New-England-style house, a lovely Loyalist residence or a family home. Your B&B could be next to a lake, on a mountainside, in the heart of a lively urban neighbourhood or in a quiet, country setting. Quite apart from the location and the comfortable premises, you’ll receive a warm welcome from hosts with generous hearts who are proud to provide traditional Québec hospitality.

For a more autonomous stay, we also recommend our tourist homes. In addition, certain establishments situated on a farm offer you the opportunity, for a few hours or even days, to share in the daily life and chores of the farmer. You also have the option of renting a house or even choosing a summer camp on a farm for your children. If you enjoy camping, certain farms or agricultural operations offer sites for this type of accommodation.

The Eastern Townships region also has a Scottish soul...

In the 18th Century, the political situation in Scotland, as well as the precarious living conditions, induced the first Scots, who were for the most part fur traders or soldiers hired by Britain, to come to this country. However, the largest wave of immigrants arrived in the Eastern Townships around 1845, when Scotland experienced a famine due to a potato blight - potatoes being the main source of food for crofters. In Gould there is a small inn that still continues the Gaelic tradition with great passion.

A former seigniorial mill dating from 1840 houses a magnificient inn

Between the river and the mountain, a page of the history of the Côte-du-Sud is engraved on the stone walls of a former seigniorial mill, now converted into an inn. Located in L’Islet, this inn also offers a Table aux Saveurs du Terroir.
